Compact in size and price, the new rapid alternative to mortar and pestle!

MINILYS, the 'little brother' of the well-known Precellys® homogenisers, is the great new system for low to middle throughput cell and tissue grinding. Compact in both size and price,  the system is the perfect introduction to automated sample disruption.

Using the same patented technology as the Precellys® homogenisers, the MINILYS grinds and disrupts sample materials using high energy 3D acceleration of lysis beads in 0.5, 2.0 and 7 ml screw cap tubes. It is therefore the most affordable system offering simultaneous multidirectional bead-beating.

With programmable lysis parameters (time and speed) and the use of single-use tubes the MINILYS guarantees for reproducible and cross-contamination free results and replaces the time and effort involved in grinding samples by hand.

The MINILYS accomodates up to 3 x 2 ml tubes or 1 x 7 ml tube. For higher throughput operation and also for high energy disruption of even toughest samples, the homogenisers Precellys® 24 and Precellys® 24-Dual are available.
